Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Attend the White House Correspondents Dinner

I don’t know if you heard some of the lame jokes from the White House Correspondents dinner last Saturday, but here’s a sample:

“Noting fellow Republican Senator John McCain’s absence, President Bush said “he probably wanted to distance himself. He’s not alone. Jenna’s moving out too.”

Gosh, Mr. President, that’s just hiliarious.

Anywho, the night did have some fab stars, including our very own Ashlee Simpson with new fiance’ Pete Wentz. Ben and Jen were there too (that’s Affleck and Garner, not Affleck and J-Lo), as was John Cusak, Pam Anderson, the Jonas Brothers, and Salman Rushdie.

Quite a group. Ashlee and Pete look adorable as always:
