Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Plan to Move Out of LA

We’ve been commenting here that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz always seem to take the paparazzi in stride. They push their way through the crowds, try and smile, and basically just deal with it the best they can.
But it’s GOT to be annoying. Now a source claims they are definitely trying to find a house in either New York or Chicago, and in time for the baby’s arrival! (Cutting it a little close since she due two months from now, no?)
Anyways, I can see why they’d want to move to Chicago. Pete is from that area and they’d have his family close by and really be away from most of the paparazzi. But New York probably wouldn’t be that much better than LA as far as the paps go.
Can’t say I blame them. But I can’t help thinking that Ashlee would miss her sister and parents, too.

I think it would be interesting if they moved to Chicago. Not that I would go visit or anything. Ha ha.

I thnink it would be helpful to move away from the paps. A move to Chicago would be good for them.

Well, I am sure there will be paps no matter where they go. But there will be a lot less than where they currently live. They’ll be able to hide out better in a place like Chicago. At least that is what I think.

I have some family in Chicago & don’t think Ash & Pete will be as bothered in Chi-town as they are in LA. They may have some, like they do in Dallas (very little). But it would probably make the poor girl feel better. She looks so sad recently :(

MK and Jessica: I totally agree with you guys. Chicago might be a better place for them. It’d be nice to see Ashlee relaxed and not fighting photographers everywhere she went. (Although I probably would miss the pictures! :)

I agree too. I think it will help her relax, especially as a first time mother. And I also will miss the photos of her as well. But we have to remember that even though they are celebrities, we do not have the right to know every aspect of their lives (as addicting as it can be), they are people just like you and I, except they have talent, money and beauty on their side. LOL

Chicago’s a great city. Pete has tons of biz there..owns a hair salon, and clothing store..and 2 bars… Suburbs there are usually a great place to raise a family. I can see why Chicago is an option. Every family wants their children to grow up around grandma and grandpa.
