Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: The Honeymoon Begins

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have traveled all over the world, so it would make sense that when it comes to their honeymoon, they’re heading for their basement.

Whaaaat…. you say? Now, hear me out.

After all, most couples don’t get to travel all over the place like Mr. and Mrs. Wentz do. So when they get married they naturally take time to get away. Ashlee and Pete, on the other hand, go all over all the time, so “getting away” means hiding away in their basement where they aren’t hounded by photographers.

Pete told Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday:

“We got some blow-up palm trees. A little fake-n-bake tanning booth. We’re eating DiGiorno’s pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while — it’s great. It’s gonna look like we’re on that private jet. We’re gonna save that $30,000, you know?”

Of course with Pete, you never know. He’s not one to answer questions straight on. Like Ashlee’s pregnancy, for example. On that he told Seacrest that the baby rumor “wasn’t confirmed.” However, the rumor that Ashlee and Pete have a prenup in place is confirmed. (Apparently Ashlee learned a lesson from her big sister Jessica.)
