Ashlee Simpson: Britney Spears Equals Too Many Beers

Word to the wise, the next time someone tells you “You’ve had one too many Britney Spears” be advised that you are getting dissed for being drunk. Probably drunk and disorderly. In public. And you might not be wearing any underwear.

That’s what Ashlee Simpson found out recently, anyways.

OK! Magazine reports that Ashlee told the Nokia Green Room recently:

“In an interview the other day, they asked me what I thought, ‘You’ve had one too many Britney Spears’ means,” Ashlee says. “I was like, ‘What?’ And they said it means you’ve had one too many beers.”

Without missing a beat, “I was like, ‘Oh, you’ve had one too many trashy girls!”

Ashlee misunderstood the question, and as X17 reports she “looked horrified once she realized what she’d just said” while her man Pete Wentz “stroked his fiancee’s hand and help reassure Ash while the weight of her words sank in.”

I guess if someone called me a “Britney Spears” I’d assume the same thing. Whaaaaat, you say? Ashlee called Britney trashy? Omigod! How could she?
