Ashlee Simpson Having a C-Section Out of Fear?

Is Ashlee Simpson afraid of childbirth? I’d actually heard a couple stories that she was, but now another site is speculating that not only is she afraid of giving birth, she’s going to have a C-section so she won’t have to go though natural childbirth.

Keep in mind that these folks are speculating about this. I mean, Ashlee probably does have fears about childbirth, cuz hey, first time mommies generally do. That’s pretty normal. It’s not “fear” so much as it’s probably wondering how much it will hurt and whatnot. But I’m not sure just because she’s supposedly scheduling a C-section that that’s going to help her fear at all. A C-section is an operation, which is scarey enough all by itself.

Besides that, women schedule their babies all the time. A friend of mine found out her daughter had the possibility of being born near Valentine’s Day, and decided to name her middle name “Valentine,” and then insisted that she have a C-section scheduled for (you guessed it) February 14th. And this woman isn’t even a celeb! haha So I think this C-section thing is something that is just done, and not some kind of preferred treatment since Ashlee is a celebrity.

What do you guys think?

P.S. Thanks to our loyal reader MK for sending me the link on this one!

I think having a c-section so you can have your baby born on a particular day is so lame. In some ways, I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a c-section so it could be born on Halloween, which would just be perfect for the couple. I’d be more impressed if it was a birth that naturally occured on Halloween.

I thought c-sections were supposed to be done if there was danger to the mother and/or the childs health. Amazing what the world has come to, in order to control mother nature and cater to one’s own likings now a days.

MK: I know, I think you’re right about that. Look at my friend who purposely scheduled a C-section on Valentine’s Day!

You might be right, too, that Ashlee and Pete would schedule the delivery for Halloween on purpose!

Pete Wentz is busy learning to sew for the pending arrival of his baby girl.

The FNMTV host and wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will welcome a daughter this October, according to a new scoop from Star Magazine.

“Ashlee and Pete are on cloud nine,” an insider spills. “The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine’s Day while they were on vacation and has given them an initial due date of Oct. 31. When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect!”

i am not saying this is true but the math works out great! hehe and besides they say almost all the celebrities are planning to have
c-sections and most don’t sooo? believe what you may but i’m not sure about this story
P.S.- it is ridiculous to schedule a
c-section just so you can have the baby on a holiday…but some people think differently (like your friend MK).

I don’t think its rediculous to scedule a c-section. What the writer is trying to say is this “you need a c-section, I would like to do it somewhere from this day to this. So you choose the date” my boyfriends mom had to do it w him. Some people get to pick around a holiday others don’t. Its not some crazy thing to do just so your baby is born on vday or halloween.

WOMEN SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOOSE A C-SECTION IF THEY PREFER. MANY WOMEN ARE NOT JUST AFRAID OF THE BIRTH PAIN, BUT ALSO THE DAMAGE TO ONE’S VAGINA. I HAD A “NATURAL” BIRTH, BUT THE RECOVERY WAS HORRIBLE AND MY BODY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME (WITHOUT COSMETIC SURGERY). IF I HAVE ANOTHER CHILD, I WILL SCHEDULE A C-SECTION. IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE YOUR SKIN CUT (C-SECT) OR RIPPED (VAGINAL BIRTH) OPEN AND STITCHED BACK TOGETHER, WHERE ON YOUR BODY WOULD YOU PREFER THIS DAMAGE????
