Ashlee Simpson Helped Pete Wentz Out of Depression

According to this article Pete Wentz wants a family and kids now when just a short while ago he was suicidal.
The Fall Out Boy bassist and former wild child is ready to put his partying behind him and settle down.
Pete said: "I picture myself having a family now. Before, my dreams were about being in a huge band. Now, my dreams are of back yards and hanging out. It’s a progression for me, trying to figure out what’s normal."
The 22-year-old - who has battled depression and prescription drugs - is rumoured to be engaged to Ashlee, also 22, and says he now has a reason to live.
He confessed: "I can barely remember those years. I was taking prescription medication, I was a drugstore cowboy, mixing this with this, seeing what the combinations did. I couldn’t picture myself in two years. People would ask, ‘What are you going to do on the next record?’ And I’d say, ‘Dude, I can’t even see myself being alive’.
"Honestly, I used to wake up and want to blow my head off. I thank God I got through it, and came out of the other side."

pete is NOT 22, he is 29. he was on trl recently and they discussed it. he even joked about feeling like he skipped a year and was already 30.

This is such a bogus story. Ashlee has nothing to do with pete coming out of depression. He was depressed a long time ago, and then got better, all before he was even dating Ashlee.

why do they write “ashlee helped pete out of depressions” and don’t say even a word about it in the article? That’s so silly, guys! Just because now everything works better for pete, that doesn’t mean it happenend by Ashlee… But Hey! If they’re happy together, why not? I think they’re really cute.
