Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was spotted looking super cute in plaid while being dropped off at the Los Angeles International Airport earlier today.

I am really digging this outfit. Very muted, yet comfortable, yet still uber-stylish. And her new hair color works so well with the ensemble!

I wonder where Ash is heading off to sans Pete and baby Bronx Mowgli. Perhaps to New York City to begin rehearsals for her upcoming role in Chicago? Her outfit does seem to be made for cooler weather, so perhaps she is making her way over to the East coast. But I still don’t understand how her new hair color will work when she takes over as Roxie, the blonde bombshell murderess.
