Ashlee Simpson’s Latest Look: Yea or Nay?

I’ve no doubt Ashlee Simpson will look very cute as her baby bump gets bigger, although I can’t say I love this look she sported at the Palms Place Hotel and Spa Grand Opening in Vegas this past Saturday. The earrings, the hair, the too-redish pink lipstick… and those shoes! Sheesh.
The gobs of makeup she has on takes away from her pretty face. And I don’t know WHAT she was thinking with that hair. Jessica’s BFF Ken Paves must not have been around because I can’t imagine he’d let Ashlee out on the street like that!
I don’t love the shoes with this getup either. Maybe on another outfit, but it doesn’t work with this dress.
On the plus side, the dress is very cute and her and Pete look so happy. And happiness is the best fashion accessory, right?

Okay, I LOVE Ashlee, but she looks horrible in the outfit. The earrings are dumb, the shoes are awful & the dress doesn’t make er body look good. Nay all across the board.

She must have thought, Hmmm Vegas, I’ll REALLY pile on the glam. Except… this ain’t glam, it’s BLECK.
I actually think she’s really pretty and for the interviews especially loose women she looks so good and then she takes on one of these looks. and she goes all complete fug on in 180.
I like Ashlee’s hair, but that is about it. I really hate those earrings; they are quite distracting. Kind of reminiscent of grandma’s jumbo clip on earrings.
