Ashlee Simpson’s Man in the Guinness Book of World Records?

Ashlee Simpson’s boyfriend Pete Wentz, may just land in The Guinness Book of World Records. According to one source, Pete’s group, Fall Out Boy, will “set the record as the first band to play a concert in all seven continents in a time frame under nine months after playing a gig in Antarctica in late March.”

Got that? Fall Out Boy toured “Europe, Asia, Australia and North America throughout last year” and South Africa last summer. They’re set to play a show in Chile this weekend and one in King George Island (in Antarctica) in the early part of next week.

Wonder if Ashlee will attend the Antarctica concert? Want to hear the most ironic part? Their new CD/DVD set (which will be released on April 1st) will have a cover of “Beat It” featuring John Mayer on guitar. Wonder how Jess feels about that?
