She’s baaaaack!!  Yes, that’s right, Jessica Simpson is returning to reality television.

Jessica, along with her father, is producing a reality series called “The Price of Beauty.” The show will see our girl traveling to different locales, discussing fashion trends and examining the issue of body image.

As we all know, Jessica is no stranger to criticism.  She received heavy media flak earlier this year, for putting on some weight.  Although, I’d still kill to look like her!

And this is not lost on Jess, she recently told MTV that, “I know that every day the media’s going to challenge me, is going to want to bring me down.”

Little does the media know that this is why we love Jess!  She’s not perfect and never claims to be.  Which is why this reality show will be just perfect for her.

The Price of Beauty will air on VH1 and begins shooting this month.

Jessica Simpson and her double d’s can do just about anything when they put their minds to it, including selling more magazines than former Alaskan Governor, “Sexy” Sarah Palin.

While Palin is still considered to be the Republican Party’s most lucrative member, she cannot compete with steamy pictures of Jessica Simpson.  According to a news item on MediaMemo.com, Vanity Fair moved approximately two million copies over a span of four days when it ran the story of Palin’s impending resignation.

Very impressive indeed, however, abysmal when compared to the five million hits over two days that Papa Joe’s first born got just this past May when Vanity Fair ran a five page spread of a barely-clothed Jessica Simpson.

It may seem that our girl Jessie’s career has hit a lull, with less than stellar sales for her country album, but do not be deceived, this girl has a huge fanbase, and we are here to stay!  And as long as Hollywood’s got a soft spot for busty blonde Southern belles, she isn’t going anywhere either, y’all!

No one knows about being scrutinized about her weight more than Jessica Simpson. And while there had been rumors that she was shopping a new reality TV idea around to the networks, word has come that she will indeed star in The Price of Beauty. The show will air on VH-1, and will have Jess going around the world “to meet women, study local fashions, dietary fads and beauty regimes.”

Jess will begin filming the series next month, and it will air on VH-1 sometime next year.

Remember that oh-so-lame show, I Get That A Lot, that Jessica Simpson guest starred on a while back? Well news is the show was so well received, they are doing another one.

Apparently they’ve order three more of these shows. Entertainment Weekly says, “[CBS] might air the… specials quarterly and stunt cast with talent from other high-profile specials airing around the same time (for instance, casting all music artists for a Get That a Lot to air near the Grammys).”

Ashlee Simpson and Company are gearing up for Melrose Place. Here is another sneak peak from the show. We see more of Ashlee’s character, Violet (is she really supposed to be only 18?) and the other characters as well.

Check out this crazy gossip about Ashlee Simpson. Someone said she went all crazy on Pete Wentz‘ ex Michelle Trachtenberg while out Monday night.

The source claims that Ashlee got drunk, said some vile things about Michelle (including that she slept with Pete while he and Michelle were dating) and then proceeded to give Pete a lap dance.

Hmmm. I said BOGUS the first time I heard this, but then caught a follow up from Ashlee’s rep, which said: “Ashlee has since apologized to Michelle, and they remain on good terms.”

Yiiikes. Could this be true? What’s your thought?

Did you catch Pete Wentz and Fall Out Boy on the Today Show last week? I did! I knew they were appearing, but with the busy holiday weekend I never got a chance to see. If you’re like me, don’t fret! Here’s a clip of their performance of “Dance Dance.”

What a fabulous picture! Shown are Stephanie Jacobsen, Jessica Lucas, Laura Leighton, Katie Cassidy, and Ashlee Simpson yesterday from New York. The new Melrose Place gang got together to help celebrate the CW officially putting the show into a definitely time slot.

Remember how Mondays used to be Melrose night? Well the new Melrose will still follow 90210 (just like the “old days”) but will air on Tuesday night instead. According to a CW press release:

On Tuesday, 90210 returns for its sophomore season in the 8:00-9:00 p.m. timeslot. Last season, 90210 gave The CW its highest-rated series premiere ever and improved the 8:00 p.m. time period by 35 percent in women 18-34. The highly anticipated, updated version of the 1990s monster-hit drama MELROSE PLACE will premiere in the 9:00-10:00 p.m. timeslot. The newMELROSE PLACE features a dynamic ensemble of up-and-coming stars, along with two original cast members reprising the roles they made famous: Laura Leighton as Sydney Andrews and Thomas Calabro as Dr. Michael Mancini. MELROSE PLACE promises to deliver all the backstabbing and sizzle of the original series. And, as they did once before, 90210 and MELROSE PLACE will combine for a great night of television.

I love Jess’ song “Irresistible” and this is a really great flashback. She’s on The Tonight Show, and while her vocals are a little shaky I still think her voice sounds good. This was one song that was really suited to her voice. I think her outfit is terrible and she looks like she’s in awesome shape beside. Everything works here. Enjoy.
