Flashback Friday: Jessica & Ashlee Simpson For Ice Breakers
Here’s a fun blast from the past. Four years ago Jessica and Ashlee Simpson did a commercial for Ice Breakers Liquid Ice. Ashlee had her dark hair and Jessica was in her “dumb blonde” phase. I say “phase” because Jessica really played up the “dumbness” factor on her show Newlywed’s. This commercial was in the height of that phase.

The Simpson sisters weren’t the only ones to do a spot for Ice Breakers. Hilary and Haylie Duff also did a series of spots. Theirs were centered around how nice they are, so they went through the whole commercial being super polite (and yet, the effect was somewhat obnoxious). See if you agree:

I absolutely LOVE the Simpson sisters. They are beautiful and very VERY talented. If you say anything against them than thats your oppinion but, its not MINE!!

lol, Ashlee and Jessica’s is the best :) But Hilary and Haylie’s quite good as well because she just drives Hilary nuts!

Jessica and ashlee are better actresses than hayley and hilary. They just seemed more natural.

I like how, at the end of the commercial, Ashlee seemed to be getting frustrated at Jess’s ignorance & Ash rolled her eyes & put her hand up like “Oh God - WHATEVER!” haha.

umm u guys… dont listen to the creator of this site cuz she put that hilary and hayley’s was obnoxious just to get all of u to beleive that crap… thats the only reason she’s saying that.. so dont beleive it cuz its not true… hils and hails is soooooo much better!
