Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s Idol Connection

Have you heard about the new judge on American Idol? After seven seasons, they are actually adding a fourth judge: Kara DioGuardi. She’s a bigwig in the music world, collaborting with tons of pop artists, including our own Jessica and Ashlee Simpson.
Should be interesting to see how she’s going to add to the mix of judges, especially Paula. Paula tends to really work with the contestants behind the scenes, but having someone that’s collaborated with so many pop stars should certainly provide a different perspective.
What I wonder is if she’ll call on some of these folks she’s worked with to appear on Idol. (Like Jessica. And Ashlee. HINT HINT.)
