Jessica Simpson chats about her luv Tony Romo in the June issue of Glamour Magazine. She admits she’s in love with him and says it feels like they’ve been together a lot longer than five months.

She also says, “He reintroduced me to myself. I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. … Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again.”

I don’t know about you but it sounds to me like she’s definitely talking about her experience in dating John Mayer here. John is known to be a “deep” songwriter and one of the rumors surrounding their relationship was that he thought Jessica was too glitzy and ditzy. He wanted a gal with thoughts deeper than “Is this fish or chicken.”

I think it’s great that Jessica is in love again, but I wonder if perhaps talking about Tony Romo so openly might cause trouble in their relationship. After all, too much exposure is what helped kill her union with Nick Lachey. And displays like this one:

won’t help her image or her love life. What Jessica needs most of all is to get back to her roots, get some singing down and down on an album to remind us all what a talent she is.

I agree. I think where appropriate it is cute for her to talk about him. People do like that now and again. However a girl has got to know not to give too much away. Those pictures were definitely PDA of a different kind and I’m sure a one off.

By the way I love this blog. I come here often.
