Jessica Simpson Makes the Rounds at Country Fest

Jessica Simpson is really making the rounds on the country scene. CMT reports that she popped in a private party thrown by her record label on Wednesday night. She also made a surprise appearance at the CMA Music Festival Block Party on Wednesday. Here are a few snaps from that event:
She looks a little confused and pissed off. Maybe the excitement of the day was a bit too much for her.
CMT also says Jess was “introduced briefly” on Thursday during the CMA Music Festival’s first concert of the year. Several other country performers were there also, including: “Jennifer Hanson, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Luke Bryan, Jewel, Taylor Swift, Sugarland and Rascal Flatts.”
Don’t ask me what “introduced briefly” means. I’m assuming they said, “Ladies and Gentlemen….. Jessica Simpson. (Jess stands there looking pretty while people applaud. Jess leaves stage.)”
I’m guessing that’s how it went down. Here is Jessica from the Thursday night show:
I can’t say I love the dress she has on. It has “pregnancy” written all over it. Is she trying to tell us something? Or maybe she borrowed the dress from Ashlee. Her hair is a frizzy mess, too. Is this Jess’s new country look? Who knows, but the shoes are fab.

I like the days when she didn’t have dark eye makeup. She looks so much older with it caked on.
Yeah, you’re right. She doesn’t need that much makeup!
Is it just me or has she gained a bit of weight on her face? im not saying she looks bad, but she looks a bit chubbier and curvier than what she used to!

Yes, I thought the same thing. I would have chalked it up to a bad camera angle, but even from the front she looks a bit chunkier in the face.
That is what I was thinking too! She looked like she had more weight in her cheeks. But I also figured it was due to the angle the photograph was taken from, because in her other photographs, she still looks like always.
