Melrose Place character Twitters not being updated

In late September, we reported that the CW has taken to Twitter to promote the new Melrose Place, creating Twitter accounts for the several fictional characterso on the show. However, while they were once updated almost daily, the profiles haven’t been updated in weeks!

David’s account was last updated on September 27, Lauren’s on September 29, Riley’s and Violet’s on September 30, Jonah’s and Auggie’s on October 9, and Ella’s on October 15.
Why is the CW falling behind ? Does it have anything to do with the “new direction” the show is being taken in? Or it just laziness and inconistency? I personally dislike such incosistency, as fans tend to get attached and then let down, but who knows.
