What are your favorite Jessica Simpson songs? One fan put together a video of their top ten favorite Jess tunes along with photos of our gal. I have to say, I couldn’t agree more with the order. Their number 1 is also my favorite. See if you agree:

I might just be one of the few people that look forward to the end of summer. I love fall, the leaves, the cooler air… it all just makes me feel like something new is about to begin. So for me, the end of summer is a happy time.

If I were to pick a soundtrack to go along with the end of summer, this is how it would look.

#1: Ashlee Simpson’s “Outta My Head”

First of all, this is a great song to dance to. It’s the kind of song that sticks in your mind and makes you jump around. The perfect song to round out the summer with! Plus, I personally love the fact that she is dancing on a rubik’s cube in the video.

#2: Jessica Simpson’s “A Little Bit“

I love the energy of this song, and the message is outstanding. The end of summer signifies wrapping things up, moving on, and this song is kind of an in your face, this is how it’s gonna be refrain.

#3: Jessica Simpson’s “I Think I’m In Love With You“

You know how sometimes summer romance actually turns out to be real? For that kind of vibe, there is no better song to sing along with your newfound feeling than Jessica’s “I Think I’m In Love With You.”

#4: Ashlee Simpson’s “Shadow“

You know how you feel sad that summer is ending, but yet you feel ready to move on. Whether it’s going back to school, moving on from a summer romance, or just plain putting your head on straight and moving into fall and winter, there is a kind of sadness combined with strong resolve. This song is the perfect one to sing to get you into the right mood for the changes that end of summer brings.

As I write this, I’m taking on new challenges, adding new jobs, creating new projects… all of it is exciting and scary. And it’s Ashlee’s “Shadow” that puts me in the right mood to deal with it all. Even though Ashlee wrote this about something different than what I’m going through now, I can still relate to it. The song still brings out the perfect emotion. The mark of a great song! And the final choice for my end of summer soundtrack. Enjoy:

Jessica Simpson is all about the country vibe right now, but a few years back she was trying to be a pop princess ala Britney and Christina.

I don’t know about you, but this clip just makes me wanna cringe. It’s clear Jessica is not the most comfortable doing the dance moves (or lip synching, for that matter). She actually looks likes she’s counting to herself while dancing. She looks very odd and uncomfortable. Hopefully this will change will her new format of country. (Although now she’s singing from her kitchen sink, so I doubt it!)
