Didn’t catch Fall Out Boy’s performance on MTV for the inauguration? No problem. Here it is, along with an interview at the end.

Fall Out Boy is playing for two inaugural balls this week. Pete Wentz tells MTV, “We’re driving around in bulletproof cars with guys who know mixed martial arts,” and “The 14-year-old version of your former self is like, ‘That’s awesome.’ ”

I’d be the same way, I’m sure. It IS pretty awesome and exciting.

The first ball the guys played was Sunday night’s Mayor’s Ball where there was about 15,000 people.

The second gig will be tonight, which MTV will air as part of their “Be the Change: Live From the Inaugural” special.” Check out the video over at MTV along with Pete’s cheesy moustache!

This EXCLUSIVE Ashlee and Pete news just in from Entertainment Weekly:

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will guest-star on an upcoming CSI: NY. But they won’t be playing themselves. Oh no. They’ll be playing “Bonnie and Clyde Wannabes.”

How much do you luv that? I think it should be fun to watch. This will be the first joint project (beside their YouTube shenanigans) that the two have worked on together. That’s all I know right now. The show airs March 18th. Mark your calendars.

UPDATE: According to People, “Ashlee will be playing ‘Lia Wickfield’ and Pete will be playing ‘Chester Bryon’.”

Ashlee Simpson came out to support Barack Obama by joining others in recording a message for him. You’ll see her enter the building and leave (and the very end) in this clip:

Don’t you love the photogs are they shout things out to Ash? I like the one who is saying, “How’s that baby, Ashlee. Say hi to Bronx!”

For some reason that really makes me laugh. I’d hate to do that all day just to get a pic. But it’s nice that’s we get to see our girl around town again.

Yes, if you thought hearing about the taste of Ashlee’s breast milk was over the top, or the details about Pete and Ash’s sex life were a bit TMI, get a load of this new sound byte.

In the February issue of Blender, Pete says he would be “jerking off” to pictures of Ashlee is he hadn’t married her.

Hey - the boys in love! He’s bound to say stupid things! (Although I think he needs to SHUT IT now, don’t you?)

I was browsing through Walgreens today and happened to see the latest Life & Style magazine (dated January 12th, 2009) with our very own Ashlee Simpson on the cover. (She’s got her red do in a very cute ponytail.)

The mag has pictures of Bronx (the one Ash and Pete showed on Friends and Enemies at Christmas) and talked about parenthood and of wanting more kids.

Yes, I said MORE KIDS. Pete is so happy to be a dad he can imagine having about six more, he said. Could Ashlee and Pete become another Brangelina perhaps?

Ashlee Simpson has recently admitted that 2008 was the greatest year of her life.

Yeah! I’d say so! I was thinking about how different things were for Ashlee just one year ago, and it’s really mind boggling to think of how many things have happened. Here is MY list of the top Ashlee Simpson moments of 2008:

5. Released Bittersweet World
Okay, it didn’t sell as big as her first albums, but it was another great record with some awesome music. I loved the 80s vibe and especially some of the videos that went with the record. Here’s a preview of the songs if you didn’t catch it when it came out in April:

Ashlee has recently remarked that she’s going back into the studio in 2009. We can’t wait to see what comes next!

4. Enaged to Pete Wentz
She wasn’t engaged long, but she did wear an engagement ring for a while and that was a pretty happy thing! As soon as she got engaged there were rumors about pregnancy and marriage… but hey - she got to bask in the fiance glow for a little while at least.

3. Kept Mum About Being Pregnant
Why is keeping quiet about her pregnancy a big deal? Because for a long time Ashlee didn’t seem to know how to deal with certain questions, like the nose job and lip syncing. With the pregnancy rumor she figured out an answer that would instantly shut people up.

It was truly a happy event when Ashlee married Pete Wentz!

1. Having a baby!
Not only was this the best moment of Ashlee’s life thus far, it was the first thing she did that her sister Jessica had not yet done. (Yes, sibling rivalry is at work!) Jessica is no-doubt very happy to be an auntie, but you know she was just burning with envy over not being a mommy first.

Ashlee made it clear at the recent New Year’s party she and Pete hosted that Bronx Mowgli Wentz is the most important thing in her life!

As a couple people may have noticed, I took a couple days off this past week. Shock! I usually don’t - obsessed girl that I am when it comes to celeb (and Jess and Ashlee) news. But every once in a while a blogger needs a break.

Anywho, I’m back with all the latest news and gossip. In my absence our loyal reader MK posted a link to some Ashlee news in a previous post. Here’s a synopsis of some of the things she’s read:

Every time Pete Wentz is in an interview, he either reveals inappropriate details, too many details, or just plain out lies. In a recent interview with Howard Stern, he told the world how much Ashlee loves sex and what she’ll do. Basically, the two have a splendid time in the sack (and everywhere else) and he makes no bones about the fact that Ashlee loves to have as good a time as he does.

(I’ll leave it at that. But you can read the other details over at E! It may be too much information for you to know about Ashlee since I feel like my eyes are burning just reading it! LOL)

In other news from the interview, he also said he and Ash had a prenup (which who in Hollywood doesn’t these days…. oh that’s right - Ashlee’s sister Jessica!), and how much weight Ashlee gained at the height of her pregnancy. Any guesses? 150 pounds! (Is it just me in thinking that she must be a very tiny girl to have only weighed 150 at the height of pregnancy! I am actually a little depressed by this!)

Pete actually told folks at a Fall Out Boy concert about the interview, too, and about Ashlee’s response. (Sound isn’t the best, but take a listen anyway:)

In talking about whether or not Pete and Ashlee will sell baby photos of Bronx, he responded by saying basically NO WAY. This surprises me, not because there’s anything right or wrong about it, but because I thought Papa Joe would have already inked a deal about those baby photos. A part of me still believes that will happen on some level! (Cynical perhaps…)

If you’re looking for a cool interview with Pete Wentz, don’t miss this one. It doesn’t really reveal anything we didn’t know, but it does sum up a lot of info we know about Pete. If you still think Pete’s a jerk (and you know who you people are!) I encourage you to take a look. It might change your mind.

Ashlee Simpson has spoken out to fans via her MySpace page. She says, “I haven’t written in a while, just wanted to write and check in! Motherhood is the most fantastic experience I have ever been thru, Bronx makes me laugh and smile everyday!”

According to People, they named their son: Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

The little lad weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Everyone is happy and healthy!
