Didn’t catch Fall Out Boy’s performance on MTV for the inauguration? No problem. Here it is, along with an interview at the end.

Fall Out Boy is playing for two inaugural balls this week. Pete Wentz tells MTV, “We’re driving around in bulletproof cars with guys who know mixed martial arts,” and “The 14-year-old version of your former self is like, ‘That’s awesome.’ ”

I’d be the same way, I’m sure. It IS pretty awesome and exciting.

The first ball the guys played was Sunday night’s Mayor’s Ball where there was about 15,000 people.

The second gig will be tonight, which MTV will air as part of their “Be the Change: Live From the Inaugural” special.” Check out the video over at MTV along with Pete’s cheesy moustache!

This EXCLUSIVE Ashlee and Pete news just in from Entertainment Weekly:

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will guest-star on an upcoming CSI: NY. But they won’t be playing themselves. Oh no. They’ll be playing “Bonnie and Clyde Wannabes.”

How much do you luv that? I think it should be fun to watch. This will be the first joint project (beside their YouTube shenanigans) that the two have worked on together. That’s all I know right now. The show airs March 18th. Mark your calendars.

UPDATE: According to People, “Ashlee will be playing ‘Lia Wickfield’ and Pete will be playing ‘Chester Bryon’.”

Ashlee Simpson came out to support Barack Obama by joining others in recording a message for him. You’ll see her enter the building and leave (and the very end) in this clip:

Don’t you love the photogs are they shout things out to Ash? I like the one who is saying, “How’s that baby, Ashlee. Say hi to Bronx!”

For some reason that really makes me laugh. I’d hate to do that all day just to get a pic. But it’s nice that’s we get to see our girl around town again.

Yes, if you thought hearing about the taste of Ashlee’s breast milk was over the top, or the details about Pete and Ash’s sex life were a bit TMI, get a load of this new sound byte.

In the February issue of Blender, Pete says he would be “jerking off” to pictures of Ashlee is he hadn’t married her.

Hey - the boys in love! He’s bound to say stupid things! (Although I think he needs to SHUT IT now, don’t you?)

I was browsing through Walgreens today and happened to see the latest Life & Style magazine (dated January 12th, 2009) with our very own Ashlee Simpson on the cover. (She’s got her red do in a very cute ponytail.)

The mag has pictures of Bronx (the one Ash and Pete showed on Friends and Enemies at Christmas) and talked about parenthood and of wanting more kids.

Yes, I said MORE KIDS. Pete is so happy to be a dad he can imagine having about six more, he said. Could Ashlee and Pete become another Brangelina perhaps?

Ashlee Simpson has recently admitted that 2008 was the greatest year of her life.

Yeah! I’d say so! I was thinking about how different things were for Ashlee just one year ago, and it’s really mind boggling to think of how many things have happened. Here is MY list of the top Ashlee Simpson moments of 2008:

5. Released Bittersweet World
Okay, it didn’t sell as big as her first albums, but it was another great record with some awesome music. I loved the 80s vibe and especially some of the videos that went with the record. Here’s a preview of the songs if you didn’t catch it when it came out in April:

Ashlee has recently remarked that she’s going back into the studio in 2009. We can’t wait to see what comes next!

4. Enaged to Pete Wentz
She wasn’t engaged long, but she did wear an engagement ring for a while and that was a pretty happy thing! As soon as she got engaged there were rumors about pregnancy and marriage… but hey - she got to bask in the fiance glow for a little while at least.

3. Kept Mum About Being Pregnant
Why is keeping quiet about her pregnancy a big deal? Because for a long time Ashlee didn’t seem to know how to deal with certain questions, like the nose job and lip syncing. With the pregnancy rumor she figured out an answer that would instantly shut people up.

1. Having a baby!
Not only was this the best moment of Ashlee’s life thus far, it was the first thing she did that her sister Jessica had not yet done. (Yes, sibling rivalry is at work!) Jessica is no-doubt very happy to be an auntie, but you know she was just burning with envy over not being a mommy first.

Ashlee made it clear at the recent New Year’s party she and Pete hosted that Bronx Mowgli Wentz is the most important thing in her life!

We know Jessica Simpson is so totally completely in love with Tony Romo it’s nuts. (After all, she tells us all the time.) But ever since Ashlee had her baby, she’s supposedly been “desperate” to have one of her own, too. So much so that Jessica has had a talk about kids with Tony.

One source says, “Unlike Ashlee, Jessica doesn’t want to get pregnant and then get married. She’s a little more traditional, so she’d like to marry Tony first and then get pregnant, ideally on their honeymoon.”

Well… la dee dah. And I’d like a million dollars and a house with a white picket fence, too. Can I have that?

Jessica still seems to be ten years old when it comes to this marriage and babies thing. The same source says “Jessica is always hinting to Tony about having kids.”

I’ll bet. But hinting? That means something subtle. Jessica is probably more like telling him every single day.

Which makes the fact that the whole clan is getting together for the holidays that much more interesting.

CelebTV goes even farther and says Jessica and Tony are “actively trying to get pregnant.” Here’s a clip from them:

What’s a Jessica fan to believe? I have a feeling we’ll know by the New Year. Either she’ll be engaged or married or pregnant or broken up. Holidays always bring out the best (and worst) in people.

It’s super difficult to report on Ashlee Simpson, what with her crazy liar hubby (who we love, love, love) giving us different stories all the time.

But….

Apparently Life & Style magazine broke the report Saturday that Ashlee was in labor.

Then came “speculation that she has already given birth to her baby.” Then, Pete Wentz cancelled his appearance on Larry King so people thought she was in labor then.

Access Hollywood says there is no baby yet.

So that’s what we know, kiddies! Given Pete Wentz’s ability to mislead the media (and I said that in the most loving way) there is every chance Ashlee may have the baby and we wouldn’t know it right away. However, given the amount of paparazzi following this story, it’s also possible that we’ll play by play coverage!

If she did in fact go into labor over the weekend, it might have just been a false alarm.

As of right now…. we still wait….. Are you getting as anxious as I am?

Ashlee Simpson is very close to her mom, so it’s no surprise that Tina Simpson will be moving in with Ashlee and Pete Wentz after delivery of the Fall Out Baby. Says one source, “Her mom, Tina, is going to move in with them for a few days, maybe even a few weeks, to help out after Ash gives birth.”

So sweet. And as an aside, don’t Ashlee and her mom look a lot alike?

Anywho, Ashlee is also “is writing a song that she’ll dedicate to her baby” according to one “family insider.”~source

Who ARE these family insiders? I always like to know because hey - if I was a pop star having a baby and was writing a song in secret, I sure as heck wouldn’t want it leaked. But oh well, it IS interesting to know. Because now I’m dying to find out if it’s a lullaby, or a rock tune (wouldn’t that be cool for this little rocker baby) or what. Time will tell.
