Ashlee Simpson left La Scala yesterday through the backdoor, but photographers still managed to catch up with her.

Again, I’m amazed at how great she looks. She seems to have gained baby weight only in her bump and nowhere else! I love the top and necklace she has on here.

Looks like Ashlee Simpson was busy over the Labor Day weekend. Here she is leaving the Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive Tuesday before doing some more shopping. She’s got to fit it all in before the baby!

The Simpson Sisters were out at Eva Longoria’s Beso Restaurant last night and looked like they had a fab time. Ashlee left first, followed by Jessica and Ken Paves. Here’s a video clip of both of them:

Did you hear someone shout something about O.J. Simpson at Jessica? Weird! Jessica apparently got into the car and rolled the window down and started singing to her single, “Come on Over.” Ashlee, on the other hand, just drove away.

Jessica Simpson loves those Daisy Duke shorts! (Check out the slit on the picture above). She was hanging at Mr. Chow with her pals (including Ken Paves, of course) last week after a long day of work.

E! Online says she arrived at about 9:30 p.m. and stayed for three hours. Supposedly her driver “circled the block 25 times, parking at the front and back, in an attempt to throw off the paparazzi.”

You can see by the amount of pictures how well he succeeded.

Anywho, I love the top she has on here, especially with the bag. I think I’m pretty done seeing Jessica in those Daisy Duke shorts, however. Yeah, yeah…. we get it….. you played Daisy Duke in a movie. You have nice legs. Yeah…. enough already…..

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were having a night out at Nobu in Malibu, when they saw some photogs coming and had to get out of the way. They didn’t do such a great job, though, as paparazzi were able to snap a bunch of pictures anyway.

Besides that, it must have been a very casual evening, take a look at how they’re dressed.

I guess Tony just “came on over” to pick up Jessica as he was. Hahah. Sorry, couldn’t resist that. Anyways, doesn’t this guy need to be at training camp?

Ashlee Simpson was snapped as she left Chin Chin recently. Too bad she’s holding her big ole bag in front of her or we could get a better view of the baby bump. Of course paparazzi hounded her the entire time, but it looks like she handled it okay.

BTW, I love her orange sandals and white dress here. She has to be the only pregnant woman I know who looks cool as a cucumber all the time.

Ashlee Simpson seems like a pretty patient girl. Pete Wentz also seems to just take things in stride. They deal with the paparazzi as best they can, they smile, they go on with their lives.

But even Pete lost his temper recently at photogs who wouldn’t let Ashlee through. Now that she’s pregnant, getting hounded by cameras (who get very close) even seems dangerous.

Here’s Ashlee recently trying to have lunch. Check the craziness of her getting followed around like this. The car horns are blaring, paparazzi are snapping away, people are yelling out questions to her… it’s nuts.

Did you love that when she came out of the restaurant, some goof yelled out if she had lunch and was the baby satisfied? Yikes. They’ll do anything for a picture.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo just don’t get photographed that often together. They really try and avoid it.

But they smiled pretty recently at the Olive Garden in Janesville, Wisconsin. They were having dinner with Tony’s parents (who live there.) Tony grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin. A Burlington boy!

Less you get too excited that Tony was there to get tell his parents he and Jessica were ready for the altar, let me assure you, he only had golf on his mind. He was there to play in a nearby competition.

Even though I personally think it might be in Jess’s interest to dump this Cowboy, she sure does look happy with him.

We know Ashlee Simpson will need to wear some mommy-to-be-appropriate outfits in the next few months, but I can’t say I’m too keen on this look. Ashlee was photographed on her way to a friend’s house in this get-up. (Let’s hope it was a costume party.)

I say this is a definite NAY. But more importantly, what do you think?

And to think it was all over a little tee shirt. Have you heard this scuttlebutt? Apparently Jessica Simpson wore a red tee shirt to lunch yesterday that said, “Real Girls Eat Meet.”

Oh but what did it mean? Because we know that every move a star makes HAS to mean something.

My personal opinion is that Jess is sick of hearing about Carrie Underwood and perhaps wore the shirt because Carrie is one of the “no meat” gals, and also because Jess probably thought it was cute to wear alongside her meat-eating, football-throwing boyfriend.

But then PETA decided to make a statement, and oh boy were they snarky about it:

“Jessica Simpson’s meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken of the sea anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo ‘Wings’ came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food,” said a spokesperson for PETA.

Were any of us running out to eat meet simply because our dear blonde Jess (with black roots, as shown here) wore a shirt that said to?

Ah….. (I thinking…. thinking….) that would be a “no.”

PETA’s “statement” appears to have garnered Jess some sympathy as well. Even Bill O’Reilly seemed to think this was amusing, calling her “a patriot.” Take a look:

What do you think? Should Jessica have worn the shirt? Did she mean to “make a statement” to Carrie? Or just did she just pull the shirt out of a pile because it was the only one that was clean?
