Tony Romo Should Hang Up the Golf Clubs for Now
May 13, 2009 by Cherie
Tony Romo, for the last several years, has tried to make it into the U.S Open. He’s a good golfer, to be sure, but he hasn’t made it. It shouldn’t be a surprise that he hasn’t made it this year, either. However, I found one source that thinks he shouldn’t even be trying out.
They say he’s getting paid millions to quarterback the Dallas Cowboys. His focus should be on that. Not on golf, Jessica, or Cabo. Some of the dates of the U.S. Open would actually interfere with the Cowboys practice schedule, so why even bother trying then? Focus on what you’re getting paid to do.
I have to agree with this. Especially because it seems that Tony hasn’t been able to focus enough when it comes to post-season play. I can’t fault a guy for wanting to try new things, but given the short amount of time most players are in the NFL, couldn’t the golf wait until he’s done?

Tony Romo Supports Free Reign
April 6, 2009 by Cherie
I don’t know where Jessica Simpson was on Friday, but apparently Tony Romo was not only out without her, but at a concert to boot!
Of course, I’m not sure she would have wanted to go with him anyways. The concert was for some Dallas Cowboy teammates of Tony’s who are in a band called Free Reign. They played at the Granada Theather.
Here’s a promo they did to try and get folks to attend:

Video: Jessica Simpson in North Charleston Concert
January 26, 2009 by Cherie
Jessica Simpson has been traveling with Rascal Flatts and played in North Charleston, South Carolina over the weekend.
Here’s a few snippets from her concert. We’ll start off with her song, “Angels.” I think it sounded great.
Here she is singing “Remember That.” This one sounded a little screechy to me.
Here’s Jess singing what is probably her favorite song, “You’re My Sunday.” Every time she sings this she mentions Tony Romo. Her top slips off her shoulder here and she has to readjust it.
Here’s another part of that song. Again, this one sounds a bit like she was shouting.
Of course she sang “Come on Over.” She sounded slightly bored when she sang this, but then again she’s probably getting sick of this song. It’s been out quite a while.
Jessica Simpson Packs on the Pounds
January 26, 2009 by Cherie
Jessica Simpson is getting all kinds of flack these for looking slightly plump at a “Chili Cook-off” event, hosted by Radio 99.9 Kiss Country.
More than looking plump, I think she looks like a mannequin. There is something really spooky about her makeup and facial expression.
Still, there’s no denying that Jessica is happy. She gushed to the crowd at her concert in Florida over the weekend, “My boyfriend is a football player, and he takes up my Sundays and now my Mondays. I am sooo happy!”
I doubt Tony Romo is that happy that his Mondays are now free since he isn’t going to the Superbowl yet again this year. But besides telling every single crowd she sings for that she’s dating a football player, Jessica really does not pay that much attention to what football is all about.
After the concert Jessica greeted fans at a special event, and then headed home to Tony.

Tony Romo Dines Out in L.A.
January 15, 2009 by Cherie
Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have been spending in L.A. these days. Visiting their little nephew no doubt! Here Tony is pictured having lunch with “a friend.” He looks darn serious. Wonder what he’s talking about. How to pop the question to Jess perhaps?
Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo: Gearing up Toward Engagment
January 14, 2009 by Cherie
Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Simpson (that’d be Joe and Tina to you and me) last night at La Loggia in Los Angeles.
Jess and Tony hid behind a coat and blanket (although WHY, I cannot image) when photogs where trying to snap a few pics. They managed to get some anyways:
Here’s some video of the scene:
I love the LAME things photographers yell at celebs in trying to get them to pose. Like the one who yells “Throw that football” to Tony Romo, whose season has been OVAH with the Cowboys.
Did you catch the question at the very end where they asked Tina Simpson if Pete Wentz was in the dog house for some of the “over sharing” he’s been doing lately. She told them, “Never! We love him!”
They must love Tony pretty much, too. They’ve been doing a lot of bonding time with him. Can an engagement announcement be far behind?

Jessica Simpson’s Dog Daisy is Tony Romo’s Child
January 12, 2009 by Cherie
Strange title for this post, no? Let me explain.
I mentioned in the previous post that I picked up the latest Life & Style mag today because Ashlee Simpson was on the cover. The magazine also included a inset about Jessica, Tony Romo, and Jess’ dog, Daisy. It says Tony has put a Dallas Cowboys collar on the dog and calls it “our dog.”
The magazine is speculating that this means the two are definitely planning a future together. I have to agree - if a guy starts mothering your dog, he probably really likes you.
The rumor of Jessica wanting a baby so bad she could spit is also addressed. “A friend” of Jessica supposedly confirms this rumor, but Tony is not having any discussions until after football season. (Which in his case, is usually done in December! DOH!)
Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo at the Airport
January 11, 2009 by Cherie
Jess and Tony arrived in LAX earlier this week. Do you like how his tennis shoe laces correspond with Jess’ shirt?
Matchy matchy.
Here’s Jess first realizing the paps are trying to take a photo of her. (”Quick Tony, let’s pose while holding hands!”)
Here’s Jess making sure that the paps get a good shot of the hand holding:
Daisy, of course, is in the Gucci bag.

Jessica Simpson Shares Recipes With Cowboys Fans
January 6, 2009 by Cherie
Jessica Simpson has finally made it! No, I’m not talking about an academy award (or a grammy for that matter). But she is in the latest edition of the Dallas Cowboys Family Cookbook.
Apparently she shares a page in the recipe book with boyfriend Tony Romo. The thing is, there aren’t any photos of her. Like… they aren’t enough Jessica Simpson photos floating everywhere that they could actually put a couple on the page?
The other oddity about this book is that they list Jessica’s occupation as “hairdresser.”
Methinks someone is trying to make fun of our Jessica. What do you think?
In case you’re wondering what kind of recipes are associated with Jess and Tony (because let’s face it - Jessica is not known for her cooking skills), the dishes they share are for “Banana Breakfast Fruit Smoothie and No-Fat Broccoli and Cherry Tomatoes.”
Mmmm mmmm mmmm. Or in other words, a recipe for people who don’t eat.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo in Pictures
Thanks to our loyal reader, Mrspiazzaus, who sent me the following video. It has a ton of great Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson photos all shown to the soundtrack of Jess’ “With You.”
