Fall Out Boy on the Today Show
Did you catch Pete Wentz and Fall Out Boy on the Today Show last week? I did! I knew they were appearing, but with the busy holiday weekend I never got a chance to see. If you’re like me, don’t fret! Here’s a clip of their performance of “Dance Dance.”
These guys are awesome live! Love the energy that they have.
Pete Wentz at the Kid’s Choice Awards
March 30, 2009 by Cherie
Pete Wentz has been a busy guy these last few days! He was no more back from the MTV Australia Awards when he showed up at the 2009 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards in Westwood, California.
Pete answered the all-important question of who he would slime by saying….
….. (drum roll please)….
… his wife Ashlee!
Of course! (Would he really answer anything else?) By the way, Ashlee and little Bronx were at home and couldn’t make the event. He also said that Ashlee would probably want to slime him back because, “…she knows how meticulous I am about my hair.”

Even rocker boys need a makeover every once in a while. Here’s Pete Wentz getting highlights and a trim recently at a Beverly Hills Salon. He looks like he’s enjoying it, doesn’t he?

Fall Out Boy Performs at Pre-Superbowl Bash
February 3, 2009 by Cherie
Pete Wentz and Fall Out Boy played at the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Concert on Thursday at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Rihanna and Lifehouse also performed and Jerry O’Connell was “host.” (They DO know that Jerry O’Connell just played a football player in Jerry McGuire… and he wasn’t really a football player. Right?)
Fall Out Boy on the Simpsons Tonight
January 25, 2009 by Cherie
Pete Wentz and his band Fall Out Boy have recorded a version of the Simpson theme song, which will play tomorrow night.
That seems fitting, since they named their band after the Simpsons character (and sidekick to Radioactive Man). Can an appearance by Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson be far behind?

Didn’t catch Fall Out Boy’s performance on MTV for the inauguration? No problem. Here it is, along with an interview at the end.
Fall Out Boy Plays for Two Inaugural Balls
January 20, 2009 by Cherie
Fall Out Boy is playing for two inaugural balls this week. Pete Wentz tells MTV, “We’re driving around in bulletproof cars with guys who know mixed martial arts,” and “The 14-year-old version of your former self is like, ‘That’s awesome.’ ”
I’d be the same way, I’m sure. It IS pretty awesome and exciting.
The first ball the guys played was Sunday night’s Mayor’s Ball where there was about 15,000 people.
The second gig will be tonight, which MTV will air as part of their “Be the Change: Live From the Inaugural” special.” Check out the video over at MTV along with Pete’s cheesy moustache!
Travic McCoy is Godfather to Bronx Mowgli Wentz
December 29, 2008 by Cherie
Sorry, Tony Romo. You aren’t going to be godfather to little Bronx Mowgli.
And Papa Joe, I know you like to be involved in every single aspect of your daughter’s careers, but you can’t be the godfather because you’re already the grandfather.
So who does that leave?
Lots of choices actually. Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have officially asked Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy to be the godfather. (And he’s accepted.) It’s a done deal.
Travis recently showed some of his artwork with Pete, so maybe that was the inspiration Pete and Ashlee needed to decide who should be godfather. Travis said he was “so proud” and that he was very good with the baby.
So if you’re one of the other Fall Out Boys (Patrick Stump) right now, are you pissed because Pete bypassed you on godfather duties?
My guess is no. Those guys seem to take everything in stride.
