Jessica Simpson Airport Wear
April 20, 2009 by Cherie
Jessica Simpson is a frequent flyer, and it’s interesting to look back over some of the outfits she’s had as she pops in and out of airports.
Jessica Simpson had a casual jeans look, along with a hat to cover his eyes and face as she leaves the Burbank Airport. January, 2009.

Jessica Simpson in High Heels
April 5, 2009 by Cherie
We know Jessica Simpson LOVES to wear high heels. It’s rare when you see her without them. Jessica knows she has great legs. She recent said, “My mom has great legs - they are hereditary. I think when my mom had me I came out wearing high heels - I even go to the beach in them! And I walk around my house in them, so that helps keep my legs in shape.”
She even wears them in concert with a pair of Daisy Dukes (shown above). Here are some recent outfits where the high heels really helped make the outfit:
At one of her recent promos for her Fancy perfume. I liked this whole outfit. Very sophisticated.

At a recent appearance on David Letterman. The heels helped make the outfit.

At an Operation Smile event. The only thing I liked about this outfit was the shoes. One thing I like about this picture is seeing Jess’ massive calf muscle.

Fashion Week. This dressy would like a bit frumpy (despite the belt and obvious lack of bra) were it not for the shoes. The shoes make the whole thing interesting.

At the opening of the new Roberto Cavalli Store. These heels are simple and understated, and help draw attention to the gorgeous dress Jessica has on.

Do you have a favorite Jessica “high heel moment”?

Ever since Jessica Simpson has gone country, she has worn some of the most ridiculous outfits on stage!

Jessica Simpson’s Dress: Yay or Nay?
November 5, 2008 by Cherie
So after I posted about Ken Paves taking a punch for Jessica Simpson, I got a few emails from people that were wondering about the dress she had on that night. It just seemed unflattering, like she was falling out of it.

Jessica Simpson’s Outfit: Yay or Nay?

Okay, WHAT is with this outfit? Jessica Simpson was out and about in New York today, and paps caught her walking around in an outfit that looked like a combination of old lady shirt on top covered by a sloppy lounge jacket.
What do we think of this outfit? Yay or nay?
On the plus side, it looks like Ken Paves was able to do her roots, so her hair was looking good at least. After she was seen “out” she headed to Dos Caminos for lunch. The outfit looks much better with the great leopard print bag covering it, dontcha think?

Jessica Simpson Fancy Campaign Focuses on the Fragrance
October 23, 2008 by Cherie
One site claims that while “many perfume campaigns these days being pretty raunchy, Jessica Simpson was determined to keep the launch of her new fragrance Fancy more clean cut.”
She said she wanted the campaign to focus on the fragrance - which is why she keeps herself covered up for the most part. I can understand that, and I think she has stayed on the clean cut side. But by posing in a bed with just a sheet over her, I think she’s on the very edge of the “clean cut” line. Don’t you?

Pete Wentz: Hoodie Man
September 29, 2008 by Cherie
He’s a rocker, hubby, soon-to-be dad, and now, designer. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Pete Wentz is your new hoodie man! Which seems natural, because it’s not like the guy is going to design handbags. He sat down with the Chicago Tribune to talk about his new hoodie line for Clandestine Industries line of hoodies (and some other things.) Here’s a couple highlights.
With regard to his involvement in the hoodie line, Pete claims he is very into (almost) every aspect of the line. He says:
“I insert my ideas into everything from creation to marketing and come up with the initial sketches—though I am not particularly wicked with the needle and thread. I also have a great team that I rely on and are the glue who hold Clandestine together.”
When asked about why he decided to do a fashion line, he said:
“It’s kind of like asking a tiger why he likes the jungle better than the cage. It’s no fun being stuck in the zoo.”
Uh. Okay.
And when asked to “rank” his occupations in order of priority:
“For sure, my family always comes first—but as far as my career goes, I’m not the kind of person that prioritizes, but I would say my band Fall Out Boy comes above anything and everything else I do.”
Jess and Ashlee readers, will you buy Pete’s line of hoodies?
Jessica Simpson’s Gorgeous Black Dress
September 14, 2008 by Cherie
Jessica Simpson has been receiving a lot of attention for the beautiful dress she wore on Letterman the other night. I think this is one of her best-ever outfits, and I’ve even been getting requests for more pictures of that beautiful black dress. I aim to please! Here’s some more (along with the shoes, of course):
More Pictures of Ashlee Simpson’s Visit to Zellers
August 26, 2008 by Cherie
Ashlee Simpson made an in-store appearance at Zellers (as mentioned in the last post) and she was looking very cute with a black shirt and pant set on, and an orange scarf with skulls on it. (I would have never thought to put that together, but it looks good on her.)
The appearance was for the relaunch of the Request clothing line. I’ve got a few more pictures from that event:
After the event, Ashlee stopped at a Tony Roma’s for some chow.
Ashlee Simpson at Zellers: Video and Pictures
August 26, 2008 by Cherie
Ashlee Simpson made an in-store appearance at Zellers over the weekend, and apparently she was as cute and charming as ever. Her best friend Lauren came along for the trip, and Ashlee revealed that the two of them will be working on a line a clothing in the near future. (Following in big sis’s footsteps.)
Ashlee also took questions from the crowd. She was asked which song was her favorite to perform (”Pieces of Me“), what she’s been up to these days (writing and getting ready to be a mom), and which video game she likes best (Super Mario Brothers).
She also talked about doing theater and movies sometime in the future. At the end, someone asked if Ashlee could sing a few lines from “Pieces of Me,” which she did (and sounded great.)
I think you’ll enjoy this video:
