In Touch confirms that Ashlee Simpson is in labor RIGHT NOW!

She’s at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

It won’t be long now!

OK reports that Jessica Simpson is “out of the hospital and recovering well after being admitted to L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday for a minor kidney infection.”

Jess was released yesterday and is reported to be feeling much better. She was first sent to the hospital after coming down with a very high fever.

According to WebMd, kidney infections can include painful urination in addition to:

• Pain on one side of the back, just below the rib cage and above the waist. This is often called flank pain.
• Fever.
• Nausea and vomiting.”

Infections like this can be life threatening if not treated, but it looks as if Jess did the right thing and went to the hospital.

And where was Tony Romo in all this? OK says he wanted to be by her side by had other committments.
