Ashlee Simpson was in Europe last May (if you’ll remember) and I just caught an interview she gave other there in a cafe. She looks very cute (I’m already missing her red hair) and talks about her album Bittersweet World.

The reporter asks her about “Outta My Head” (my personal favorite off the album) and how the video came about. The guy also asks her about her “fiance” which is so funny to hear now since she’s an old married lady with a new baby! Makes you realize just how much has happened to Ashlee in a few short months.

“Baby It’s Cold Outside” is one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs ever. It first appeared in an Esther Williams movie (who I also love) and over the years there have been a couple great remakes of the song.

Jessica Simpson put the song on her Rejoice album, (which you can win here) and she sang it with her then hubby, Nick Lachey. I always liked Nick and Jess’ voices together. I think they compliment each other very well.

When Jessica and Nick did their Christmas special, naturally they sang the song. Now, it is one of the cheesiest pieces of singing you will ever see, but it always makes me smile. Enjoy.

Hey, just cuz a girl is pregnant doesn’t mean she can’t keep herself beautiful. Here’s Ashlee Simpson spotted coming out of the Senna Nail Salon in Beverly Hills recently. She even gives the cameramen a thumbs up and shows off her new manicure.

She’s also been spotted at “LFT, the clothes boutique in Victory Park” (Texas) where she “spent nearly two hours browsing and picking up clothes and jewelry.” ~source

I laughed my way through this little number, because some of the “signs” they give are ones I’ve actually experienced! Given the problems that Jessica Simpson has had with her love life the last few years, I almost wanted to send this book to her!

But I’m not going to do that. What I will do is let one of you loyal Jessica and Ashlee readers get it. Like I said, the book is meant to be tongue in cheek and very fun. And who of us couldn’t use a little more fun in our world, eh?

Since Ashlee is now happily married, and Jessica is still hanging in there with Tony, let’s have a little fun with this contest as well. It’s been rumored that Jessica and Tony were ring shopping at one point and definitely talking marriage (before they broke up… and got back together…. and….) well, doesn’t it make you wonder what kind of son-in-law Tony Romo would be?

Pete Wentz seems really jazzed to be a soon-to-be daddy. I think it’s very sweet. He’s reading up on Ashlee’s pregnancy and trying to be as much a part of it as possible.

He tells one source that he’s reading The Expectant Father so he could “feel more involved.”

What’s he learned from the book?

That the baby hears the mommy’s voice all the time (because, well… the baby is IN the mommy) and doesn’t hear the daddy’s voice unless you make an effort to talk to it. So that’s exactly what he’s doing.

I’ve no doubt that Pete will be a very hands on father. Ashlee is lucky to have snagged him!

But when is Pete and the guys from Fall Out Boy going to make another album? One source claims the bands is “itching” to get back into the studio. While they don’t have anything planned right now, they want to get back to it, which is a good sign for Fall Out Boy fans.

We know Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are just the cutest couple ever. Here’a a video montage of the two of them set to “The Luckiest.” Very cute.

Pete Wentz is a pretty funny guy. At least, he thinks so!

We already know he’s a major practical joker. He’ll tell the media some crazy story (like about his basement honeymoon!) and then later will admit he just made it up.

So it should come as no surprise that he loves to pull his practical jokes on new wife, Ashlee Simpson.

Pete Wentz loves playing practical jokes on his new wife Ashlee Simpson. In fact, on one practical joke, he nearly reduced her to tears.

Turns out he sprayed a new dress she just bought with some “invisible ink” and when she saw she started crying. Being the good guy he is, however, Pete “rushed in and explained it wasn’t real!”

Nice way to treat a pregnant lady, Pete!

Well, Pete Wentz might not love to celebrate his birthday, but it looks like he’s having celebration #2 in Chicago. Pete’s from the Midwest, so maybe a second celebration closer to his hometown was in order. Then again, it’s not JUST a b’day celebration. Ashlee and Pete were there for the opening of his bar, Angels & Kings.

The two hit Angels & Kings in Chicago Wednesday night but not before Ashlee bought some goodies at Eskell boutique on Wednesday afternoon. Apparently the owners of the store “gave her a free dress and made plans to hang out with Ashlee this weekend.”

How come celebs with money are always the ones to get free stuff?

Ashlee did blow some cash while she was there, also, and picked out lots of new outfits to wear. I wonder if this dress:

Before the event Ashlee gave a short little speech about Pete, and after they played a video montage of him. (But check out the groovey James Brown pictures behind Ashlee.) Looks like another fun night for Mr. and Mrs. Wentz.

Who knows what to believe when it comes to Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. After all, they both denied she was pregnant and now they admit they lied. I don’t blame them, I’m just saying when you’re a celeb, it must be hard to live a normal life without getting hounded. You might want to shout out something ridiculous just to get the paps off your back.

Case in point is this video from over the weekend, where Ashlee and Pete are trying to go to a movie and are followed the entire way. The photogs are shouting about their baby, and Ashlee turns around and informs them (nicely) that they ARE NOT having twins. Then Pete chimes in, saying they’re having six babies instead.

Dontcha love his sense of humor? Anyways, here’s the clip. Judge for yourself, do you think they’re serious here or just playing?
