There’s a great interview with Pete Wentz over at Newsweek that you’ve got to check out. Pete is down to earth and very funny (as usual) and talks about his new summer gig hosting FNMTV, his wife, and what he’ll miss most about single life. He says he prefers to hang out at home these days (must be the whole “nesting” thing) and that, “A lot of times it feels like you’re the nocturnal animal in the zoo, and it’s 12 noon and there’s a group of schoolkids staring at you, asking why you aren’t dancing and eating bananas.”

That Pete! He cracks me up. When asked if he was more approachable than Ashlee, he said no, that he found himself “more misanthropic” than Ashlee.

For those that need a clarification on that word (like, say, your blogger here), “misanthropic” means, Characterized by a hatred or mistrustful scorn for humankind.

Which has got to be a bunch of bull, because he seems so darnright friendly.

When asked which video of Ashlee’s he would play, he said he’d probably choose “La La.” Can’t argue with that, I think that’s one of Ashlee’s best videos. And heck, why not play it here? Enjoy:
