Ashlee Simpson’s dad, manager Joe Simpson, has denied publicly that Ashlee is pregnant.

But do we really believe him? At this point, I DON’T think she is either, but considering how Papa Joe, Pete Wentz, and Ashlee denied it last time she was pregnant, I doubt we can take their word for it. He did, however, congratulate Ashlee and Pete on their one-year wedding anniversary via Twitter. He said, “One year ago today… My baby got married!! Congrats Ash and Pete.”

It’s a boy for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz!!

According to People, they named their son: Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

The little lad weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Everyone is happy and healthy!

Have you heard these rumors that Jessica Simpson might be pregnant? I’ve heard different versions of this. First, that she WAS pregnant and then told Tony and his parents and they were all ticked off at the news. Then, that she’s been trying to get pregnant ever since Ashlee announced that she was having a baby.

I don’t know what to believe. On one hand, I think Jessica might be super-jealous that Ashlee is pregnant. However, if Jessica was indeed pregnant herself, I have to think that she would be shouting it from the rooftops.

Anywho, when I was looking through new pictures to show to ya’ll today, I came across these great photos of Jessica leaving Katsuya restaurant in West Hollywood last night. One of the captions on the pictures was “Amid rumours that Jessica is pregnant, the singer covered her stomach with a large black handbag as she walked from the restaurant to the car.”

But she ALWAYS has a big handbag with her! So that’s nothing new.

For now, I’m going to say that Jess is not pregnant. I’m leaving it at that until I hear otherwise. Here’s more video of Jess leaving the restaurant:

That man with the unfortunately pose in this picture is loading loading presents into the car from Ashlee Simpson’s baby shower on Saturday. Apparently the affair was “Winne the Pooh themed” and included guests such as Nicole Richie, Emmy Rossum, Cheryl Hines and Cacee Cobb. (Splashnews says Nicole brought her baby Harlow to the event as well.)

And of course Tina (Ashlee’s mom) and big sister Jessica was there! (It wasn’t until later that Jess went out to dinner and Ken Paves’ nose got crunched.)

One source says Ashlee was “glowing and insanely happy.”

I can imagine!

Pete Wentz also showed up later to help haul the gifts away. So you know they a lot of great stuff. What kind of stuff? How about “gift bags from Kitson Kids and a mini snowboard outfit with matching gear.”

Let’s talk food for a minute here, too. Ashlee and Pete are known to have great, down to earth fixings when it comes to grub, and the baby shower was no exception. People says they dined on “chicken and mashed potatoes.” Yet another site says there were, “crabcakes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, jicama salad with grapefruit and a bumble bee-shaped cake.”

I can’t help but wonder what the temperature was at the shower. Did you hear how Ashlee is super hot all the time now? Pete told one source, “Our room temperature is set to like, 34 degrees. It’s insane!”

Yeah, this wasn’t your average baby shower! Sounds like a blast, though, that’s for sure.

We haven’t seen much of Ashlee Simpson lately, what with her expecting a new baby in a week (or month, depending on which report you believe.) But I couldn’t help posting a few tribute videos of her and Pete Wentz today. They really do inspire us when it comes to love, don’t they?

We get a fair amount of Pete Wentz fans that visit this blog. Some congratulate Ashlee and Pete, and some leave messages that Ashlee shouldn’t be with Pete. I see the attraction, Pete is a really handsome guy. Here’s a tribute with music by Fall Out Boy:

Usually it’s Jessica Simpson wearing the Daisy Duke shorts, but for Ashlee Simpson’s birthday party on Friday she wore a pair (pregnancy size, of course) to go along with her “White Trash Party.” People reports that “Ashlee wore Daisy Dukes and platform flip-flops with a bathing suit and a fake tattoo around her belly.”

Apparently the whole family was there, including Jess who wore “a crazy leopard-print dress that showed off a lot of cleavage.” So apparently she went as herself? Papa Joe wore a “cut-off muscle T-shirt and a mullet wig,” which I don’t have pictures of…. and am not sure I want.

The birthday foods included everything you’d think would be present at a white trash-themed birthday party (or Britney Spears wedding), including “corn dogs, macaroni and cheese, chicken fingers and French fries.”

But get this, since Ashlee is preggers and tends to get tired easier, she went home early. After she left, guests like Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden stopped by. A little tardy perhaps? Coming to a birthday party after the birthday girl has already gone home?

It gets worse, not only where a few people late, they came at the end because they were too busy at Gwen Stefani’s birthday earlier in the night. Guess we know where Ashlee rates with those people, huh? (Besides that, isn’t Gwen Stefani too old to be celebrating her birthday?)

Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 24th birthday on Friday with hubby Pete Wentz. What’s the best way to ring in your 24th birthday? (Besides having a baby, that is!) Seeing the musical Wicked. (Of course.) And that’s just what Ashlee and Pete did. Here are a couple great shots of them leaving the Pantages Theater.

I’m wondering why they didn’t go to see Wicked while they were in Chicago recently?

Anywho, is it just me or does Ashlee not look very happy? Perhaps she’s bummed that everywhere her and Pete go they are swarmed with paps. Still, she’s got a great hubby and is expecting a new little bundle (besides never looking better) so I think she is content to be exactly where she is in her life right now.

Hey, just cuz a girl is pregnant doesn’t mean she can’t keep herself beautiful. Here’s Ashlee Simpson spotted coming out of the Senna Nail Salon in Beverly Hills recently. She even gives the cameramen a thumbs up and shows off her new manicure.

She’s also been spotted at “LFT, the clothes boutique in Victory Park” (Texas) where she “spent nearly two hours browsing and picking up clothes and jewelry.” ~source

Came across these great pictures of Ashlee Simpson from over the summer. This was during Ashlee’s “hippie phase” which thankfully did not seem to last that long!

Ashlee visited her hubby Pete Wentz at the American Century Championship held at Edgewood golf course in Nevada. (This was the trip back in July where her and Pete went down and then Jess and Tony met them there.

I love Pete’s tee shirt in these pictures, and his glasses. Ashlee’s headband? Not so much.
