Ashlee Simpson’s dad, manager Joe Simpson, has denied publicly that Ashlee is pregnant.

But do we really believe him? At this point, I DON’T think she is either, but considering how Papa Joe, Pete Wentz, and Ashlee denied it last time she was pregnant, I doubt we can take their word for it. He did, however, congratulate Ashlee and Pete on their one-year wedding anniversary via Twitter. He said, “One year ago today… My baby got married!! Congrats Ash and Pete.”

So, we know Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are probably doing great - marriagewise. But still, it was good to hear Pete address the rumors himself. He emailed MTV, “We’re still going steady. She’s still wearing my letterman jacket,” and “And you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the Internet. It’s nonsense.”

We know Jessica Simpson is so totally completely in love with Tony Romo it’s nuts. (After all, she tells us all the time.) But ever since Ashlee had her baby, she’s supposedly been “desperate” to have one of her own, too. So much so that Jessica has had a talk about kids with Tony.

One source says, “Unlike Ashlee, Jessica doesn’t want to get pregnant and then get married. She’s a little more traditional, so she’d like to marry Tony first and then get pregnant, ideally on their honeymoon.”

Well… la dee dah. And I’d like a million dollars and a house with a white picket fence, too. Can I have that?

Jessica still seems to be ten years old when it comes to this marriage and babies thing. The same source says “Jessica is always hinting to Tony about having kids.”

I’ll bet. But hinting? That means something subtle. Jessica is probably more like telling him every single day.

Which makes the fact that the whole clan is getting together for the holidays that much more interesting.

CelebTV goes even farther and says Jessica and Tony are “actively trying to get pregnant.” Here’s a clip from them:

What’s a Jessica fan to believe? I have a feeling we’ll know by the New Year. Either she’ll be engaged or married or pregnant or broken up. Holidays always bring out the best (and worst) in people.

I mentioned this briefly in the previous post, but I wanted to chat here a little bit more about Ashlee Simpson’s new blonde hairdo.

We knew she couldn’t keep that gorgeous red hair for long! She likes to change up her look. I have looked high and low for a picture of her new do, but the best I can do is point you to here where she is shown coming out of a salon on Friday.

The new ‘do looks a lot like her old version, longer bangs and light blonde. It’s not my favorite look of hers, although does she ever really look bad? No way. Still, I will miss the red and the long shag. Of course in a few months she might just change it again…. with Ashlee you can count on that!

Have you heard the hub-bub about Ashlee Simpson supposedly getting a (nother) new nose?

CelebTV showed the pictures that we did yesterday and thought her nose looked very different. Take a look:

I said she looked different, too. But the thing is, I really doubt that she had another nose job. Who does that right after having a baby?

Speaking of plastic surgery, one site claims Jessica had a little collagen work done herself.

WHEN IS THE BABY COMING!!!!

If you think you’re in the dark, don’t feel bad. Pete Wentz’s bandmates feel the same way. Supposedly they know as much as we do. Pete stayed at home yesterday rather than attend the TRL finale with Fall Out Boy. When asked where Pete was (as if we didn’t know), Patrick Stump said, “Pete is at home with his wife, they’re just getting ready for the baby.”

Apparently Fall Out Boy is very supportive of Pete taking some family time. Patrick says, “It was a collective decision, because Pete is the type of guy who would do anything for this band, but the band is the type of band that would do anything for him. And it was one of those things where we decided that, for Ashlee’s sake, he needs to be there right now, no matter what happens.” ~source

Awww….. sounds like Pete found himself the right band members as well as the right wife, no?

Jessica Simpson was on Entertainment Tonight recently talking about her new fragrance Fancy and her relationship with Tony Romo. She confirmed once again that her and Tony are NOT (not, not, not) shopping for diamonds. If anything, she said, they are shopping for DVDs and eating pizza.

In other words: Stop asking her!

Rumors are sparking again that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are planning to get married. Reportedly they were ring shopping at Neiman Marcus in Dallas recently.

Would they really be shopping at Neiman Marcus? I picture Jess as more of a Tiffany’s girl. Perhaps Harry Winston.

Anywho, supposedly they are planning a winter wedding (cuz you know fans would rip Jess apart if she dared distract Tony during football season.)

We’ve heard this rumor before. Right before they supposedly broke up. So I’m cautious about getting too excited for her yet. I want to actually see the ring (and hear Tony SAY he wants to get married) because they’ve really been up and down with their relationship. Also remember how she said, “no comment” to whether her and Tony will be shacking up when she was on The View?

Jessica Simpson was on The View today to promote her new single, “Come on Over.”

Of course The View ladies couldn’t let her get away with just singing. They asked her about Tony Romo and she said, “We’re still together … we’ve been together for about seven months — almost eight,” she said. “I don’t know about wedding bells … but I’m still with him, so that’s a good sign.” ~source

It’s gotta be really craptacular to have to talk about your on again/off again boyfriend on national TV. I feel for her.

On a more positive note, she sounded great and finally did away with those ridiculous theatrics that make her look like a Christina Aguilera wannabe. Country does seem to suit her better. Here’s the video:

Here’s one thing Ashlee Simpson can say she did before her sister: get pregnant.

We told ya the news way back on April 14th, when OK! Mag confirmed the fact that Ashlee was preggers. But Ashlee and Pete chose to remain quiet on the subject. Until now, that is.

Ashlee and Pete have now said all those rumors are true. Pete wrote on his website, “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

Awww. We wish them the very best and can’t wait to meet the new Fall Out Baby.
