New auntie Jessica Simpson is gushing about her nephew (and first son of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz) Bronx Mowgli. She says, “Bronx is beyond precious. I’m over the moon with joy.”

No word yet on who will get the first baby pictures, although I’m suspecting probably People since they are usually the first to jump on something like this. Regardless of who it is, we JUST CAN’T WAIT to see the little tot, can we?

Hey guys! Hope you’re enjoying your 4th of July (for those of our American readers). I thought this was a good day to put some Simpson sister appreciation on this blog. We compare them, we write about them, we criticize them, and we love them. Here’s a video photo collage of the two Simpson ladies:

Jessica Simpson was asked the BIG QUESTION the other night during her outing in Vegas, which is “Will Ashlee be a good mother?”

Now, WHO exactly has the balls to ask that of someone’s sister? I mean, REALLY. What is she supposed to say? No?

Of course not.

Anyways, in typical Jessica form, she answered the question, then turned the focus back to herself. (Much like she did during the toast at Ashlee’s wedding.)

Jessica said, “She’ll be amazing, absolutely amazing,” as a mother.

That would have been fine if she’d have left it at that. Instead, she turned the tables to her own music, saying that Pete and Ash were “the cutest couple” and that “Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about.”

Is it possible for Jessica just to say, “I’m totally happy for my sister with her new hubby and family. She deserves every happiness.”

Instead Jess makes sure she talks about herself, even in her sister’s moment of attention. Is it possible for Jess to be happy for Ashlee without trying to outdo her?

What’s a girl to do when her sister gets married and she’s on the outs with her boyfriend? Go to on vacation with your parents, of course.

At least, that’s what Jessica Simpson is doing now that Ashlee is happily spending her honeymoon with hubby Pete Wentz.

According to this picture, however, it looks like Jessica is pretty bummed while mom Tina is having her own private party. (She’s prolly glad the wedding planner is DONE. For now. Untill Jessica decides to walk down the aisle again, anyways.)
