Would you like Jessica Simpson to fix your computer?

Yah… me neither.

But some lucky person will get fooled into thinking that she might do that. Jess will be part of an April Fool’s Day show on CBS where celebrities “deny their true identities” and prank people.

I personally can’t stand these kind of shows, and besides that, I think Jessica does enough “how gosh, gee whiz” TV where she plays dumb. For once I’d like to see her stretch her wings a bit because I suspect she can do a lot more when it comes to acting and performing.

Mario Lopez, Heidi Klum, and LeAnn Rimes will be the other pranksters involved.

Pete Wentz and Fall Out Boy were on Letterman last week, and they performed their new single “I Don’t Care.”

We’ve showed the video of Ashlee and Jessica Simpson singing “Little Drummer Boy” from the Christmas special they did. But here’s another version that someone put together with just photos of the girls along with the song. I love this video!

First of all, the pictures are fun because they show Ashlee and Jessica from over the years and they have all different hairdos and clothes. But then you get the hear the song without seeing that horrible video of Ashlee and Jessica from the special. I’m telling you, I never realized how good this song sounded before until I was able to listen to it without seeing that horrible video clip from the Christmas special.

Their voices really are complementary.

Which one do you like better?

“Baby It’s Cold Outside” is one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs ever. It first appeared in an Esther Williams movie (who I also love) and over the years there have been a couple great remakes of the song.

Jessica Simpson put the song on her Rejoice album, (which you can win here) and she sang it with her then hubby, Nick Lachey. I always liked Nick and Jess’ voices together. I think they compliment each other very well.

When Jessica and Nick did their Christmas special, naturally they sang the song. Now, it is one of the cheesiest pieces of singing you will ever see, but it always makes me smile. Enjoy.

Jessica Simpson was on Dancing With the Stars last week, and shortly after The Soup poked a little fun of her. Specifically, her use of the microphone.

What did you think? I have to admit, it’s pretty funny. Why WAS she snogging the mic? Anyone?

Jessica Simpson was on The Early Show last week and chatted about her flub in goofing up the words to “9 to 5,” and how that’s now turned out to be a blessing because she’s gotten a chance to work with Dolly Parton. She also talked about how her love for Tony Romo saved her from the stress of everything that has happened to her in the last few years.

In this clip, she sings “With You.”

Here she sings “Remember That” and then talks about how “any woman in an abusive situation should take their heart and run as fast as they can.” I guess personally I would believe her more about this abuse thing if she didn’t repeat the line from the song over and over as a response to the question. It makes it seem as if she is just trying to sell records and isn’t sincere.

And last but not least, here’s Jess singing “Come on Over.”

Jessica Simpson was on the Rachel Ray Show yesterday morning making chicken and dumplings. The segment starts off kind of odd, with Rachel washing her hands and Jessica just kind of standing there. Then Jess decides to wash her hands, too.

Jess says the recipe is supposed to be a lowfat version, which Rachel kind of poo-poos. Rachel says, “Eat a salad and it will all even out.” (True enough.) Jess admits that she’s kinda lazy when it comes to cooking but she uses short cuts that help her out, like using already made chicken.

The segment is rather uncomfortable because at first Jessica doesn’t seem to know what she wants to say, or if she’s supposed to be really pre-making the dumplings. But then she seems to get going and it runs a bit more smoothly. Jess talks about Tony Romo, and she adds that he lives with three guys. (Which made me think: Does that mean she isn’t moving in with him?) Jess admits that Tony is a pizza guy so she doesn’t really cook for him.

As a side note, isn’t Rachel Ray’s hair adorable?

Before the cooking segment, Jess and Rachel sat down and talked about her new album and fragrance. In typical Jess fashion, she talked about burbing and farting. (Why does she always have to do that?)

Before Jessica left, she got to hold some baby lions. So cute.

Jessica Simpson was on the The View this week, and talked about her new album, her boyfriend Tony Romo, and all her various products. The View ladies were really gushing over her, and when she sat down Joy Behar told her she was the “Jane Mansfield” of today. Jess didn’t seem to know who that was really, but it was a compliment (if an odd one.)

Jess talked about making the record, being emotional, and clears up some common misconceptions about her. She also did a true and false segment with Barbara Walters, where Barbara asked her if she had changed her email and voicemail so old boyfriends couldn’t contact her (true), if she was moving in with Tony Romo (Jess said “no comment”), and if she was currently pregnant (she said no.)

Barbara also asked her why she talks so much about being in love, and Jessica said she just kind of blabbed on and on in the interview and it was supposed to be about her new album and instead she ended up talking about Tony.

Jess also admitted that she hasn’t really bought her sister Ashlee anything for the new baby yet! For shame! What is she waiting for? Sheesh.

The View ladies discussed her shoes (they all seem to be a fan of the Jessica Simpson brand), her perfume, and what would make her walk away from “all this.” Jess said the products give her the financial support where she can make music and not have to worry about making money at it.

Jessica Simpson helped kick off her new album today by appearing on Good Morning America. It was a typical “Jess” appearance! She flubbed up a song, joked about having B.O., and didn’t bother to wear any panties.

***Update from Cherie’s editor*** The picture of Jessica’s bum was removed after we were contacted and told it was doctored. We were forced to take it down but I just have to say that, whoever “doctored” that image was amazing with photoshop because it looked like her derrière to me!

Jessica does the pre-concert interview from her dressing room and makes sure she talks about the Jessica Simpson line of clothes and shoes as well. Then at the end she throws a shameless plug in for her Fancy perfume, saying, “Ooop, got to spray some on myself, I got some B.O.” It’s a little over the top, but then that’s our Jess! Take a look.

Of course she couldn’t get by without singing her new country single, “Come on Over.” I really like Jessica’s voice when she’s singing the chorus in this song, but when she does the verses I think she’s adding a bit too much twang. What do you think? Take a listen.
