Looking for something to watch tonite? The CMT Online Awards show is on today at 3:30 p.m. on CMT (check local listings). Jessica Simpson will make an appearance on the show along with other blondies Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Larry the Cable Guy and Hulk Hogan.

Here’s a sneak peak of Ashlee Simpson’s appearance on The Dog Whisperer, which will be on Sunday, December 28 at 8pm ET/PT on the National Geographic Channel.

The taping was done before Ashlee delivered, as her and Pete were trying to get a handle on their naughty doggie before the new baby arrived.

Here you’ll get to see some of the dog’s aggressive tendencies, especially his obsession with a silver ball.

Sounds like Ashlee and Pete were making the right decision by bringing in an expert before the baby was born. Should be a good episode to watch.

“Come on Over”

“Angels”

I thought she sounded okay on both songs. My personal opinion was that on “Come on Over” she seemed to struggle on the lower notes, but her voice really kicked in on the chorus. I always think Jess sounds a little bit better on faster tempo songs. On “Angels” she started out beautifully, but seemed to struggle on the chorus. But still, “Angels” is such a great song, I almost wish Jess would re-release it.

Jess said she was thrilled that she got to see people dance to both songs, as she’d never them do that with “Angels” especially. When asked about her own dancing skills, she said:

“My dancing skills? I can only shake my hips and do like a shoulder thing…that is nothing that will impress you.”

What did you think of Jess’ outfit and hair? I wasn’t digging her outfit, and her hair reminded me of Debbie Gibson for some reason. Although it did look nice on her. I think the stage of Dancing with the Stars fit her well. I don’t think she’s good on a larger stage. The smaller venues seem to really fit her.

Jessica Simpson is supposed to sing on Dancing With the Stars tonite. Apparently she’ll be singing “Come on Over” and “Angels.” That’s an interesting set of songs, isn’t it? Let’s hope she wears panties for this TV appearance!

Jessica Simpson has been receiving a lot of attention for the beautiful dress she wore on Letterman the other night. I think this is one of her best-ever outfits, and I’ve even been getting requests for more pictures of that beautiful black dress. I aim to please! Here’s some more (along with the shoes, of course):

About a year and a half ago Jessica Simpson was on the Rachel Ray show, where a fan told of her struggle with health and hospitals. She said Jessica was her favorite celebrity and really inspired her, so the show surprised her by bringing Jess out. It was a great moment. Jessica was very humble at first, but kind of stumbled when she said, “What I go through is nothing compared to what other people go through.”

You got that right. A divorce is nothing like health issues or problems with poverity. Jess admits she was spoiled her whole life. So I think this moment would have been perfect had she not said that. Still, I think this made the fan’s day (year, life!) and she was very happy to meet Jess and get a photo. I’m happy for the fan and for Jess.
