Looks like Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have a wedding to go to! They’ll reportedly be at the nuptials of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt tomorrow. They are on the “confirmed” list of invitees so they must have got a babysitter for little Bronx. Make sense that they’d be invited - remember when Spencer was in Fall Out Boy’s video for “I Don’t Care“? Here it is:

About 200 celebs are expected to be there. Other people among the famous crowd expected to attend are Michael Bublé, Khloe Kardashian and Perez Hilton. The usual suspects! Let’s hope there are plenty of pictures!

Have you checked out the People Mag with details on Ashlee Simpson and Pete’s Wedding? Well I did. (Of course!) Ashlee looked beautiful and even her dad “Papa Joe” looked a bit choked up. At one point Ashlee and Jessica posed together, and it was very interesting because Jessica is clearly putting her hand on Ashlee’s belly. Ashlee looks like she has a baby bump (in the wedding dress at least) so it was an interesting wedding picture because this was before Ashlee had announced her pregnancy.

Ashlee is quoted in People as saying, “Everyone was calling me Bridechilla because I was superchill. But before we went out, I was like, ‘Oh my God, I have my butterflies now!’ And then we all started crying.”

They also had a photo booth for guests to pop in, which was a very cute idea. Their cake was a madhatter type deal with three flavors. It was clock and teapot shaped with red velvet, chocolate candy bar, and vanilla pound cake with raspberry filling.

For the wedding night, Pete planned a surprise for Ashlee that included a safari tent set up on the hill behind the Simpson estate. This was no ordinary tent, however, it had a chandelier, pillowcases with the couple’s initials, and ingredients for s’mores. Awww. That Pete is pretty romantic.

His wedding gift to Ashlee was a giant bumblebee made out of Legos. I kid you not. He hired this guy:

Nathan Sawaya (who is a Lego artist, apparently) to make the bee. It’s 26 inches by 47 inches by 36 inches and is made from about 18,000 Legos.

But why a bee?

According to Splash News:

“In Hindu myth, Kama, the god of love, has a bow and arrows, and the bow string is made up of bees. In the ancient Greek world the bee symbolized the soul because they migrated in swarms. And the Roman god of love, Cupid, is often pictured with bees or being stung.”

The artist said, “I made this bee for a boy who wanted to give his girl a special wedding gift. “They are a fun couple as evidenced by their Alice in Wonderland themed wedding.”

You can say that again.

There are also pictures of Jessica and Tony Romo, which are a bit over the top, making me think they were together for the sake of the wedding but are still working things out. They’re out on the dance floor, and Jessica is rubbing her butt against Tony’s crotch, and holding her mouth open like she’s a sex kitten. He, at least, looks more natural: a combination of giggly embarassment and nervousness.

The end of the article speculates about Ashlee’s pregnancy, which is funny because it’s obvious she is in at least one of the pictures. Still, it has a lot of great photos that I’m not able to show you, so be sure to check it out.

What’s a girl to do when her sister gets married and she’s on the outs with her boyfriend? Go to on vacation with your parents, of course.

At least, that’s what Jessica Simpson is doing now that Ashlee is happily spending her honeymoon with hubby Pete Wentz.

According to this picture, however, it looks like Jessica is pretty bummed while mom Tina is having her own private party. (She’s prolly glad the wedding planner is DONE. For now. Untill Jessica decides to walk down the aisle again, anyways.)

Ashlee Simpson’s wedding photo was released from People today. She looks beautiful (of course) and is wearing “an ivory lace Monique Lhuillier gown and a cathedral-length veil.”

People also indicated the ceremony had “10,000 black magic roses, red-and-black décor and chandeliers dripping with crystals” but “felt more like a sweet fairy tale.”

The issue of People complete with pictures will be out on Friday.

We’re still waiting to hear the latest on Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson. While some reports have claimed they were “kissy face” all over each other still others insist the two were solemly together and just putting on a show for Papa Joe.

I mean, what would a seven-figure-exclusive-wedding-photo-deal be without some shots of Jess and Tony? It’s rumored that Joe actually called up Tony and asked him to please take Jessica to Ashlee’s wedding, because without him he’d get far less money for the photos.

Hmmm.

Joe is indeed a guy that likes an opportunity, especially where his daughters are concerned. One source says Tony is so irritiated with Joe’s meddling that it put him over the edge when it came to Jessica. As if the constant media attention isn’t enough, there’s the butt-insky father.

A pal of Tony’s was quoted as saying that Joe was “not only telling Jessica every move to make, but now has begun to offer unsolicited advice to Tony on his career, endorsement opportunities and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica.”

Maybe Joe Simpson wanted Tony more as another client than as a potential son-in-law?

First off: Congratulations to Ashlee and Pete on their wedding! We wish you many years of happiness!

Now: on to the details.

As we suspected, Ashlee and Pete got hitched at Joe and Tina Simpson’s house on Saturday night. Ashlee’s bachelorette party began there on Thursday, and apparently they kept adding tents and equipment on Friday and Saturday.

Guests were told via evite to book a hotel in LA, and that they’d be picked up. Many were spotted waiting for the shuttle to come and take them to the party:

Jessica and Tony Romo were there together, although reports say it was clear they weren’t lovey dovey. Yahoo reports that “Jessica and Tony Romo sat at the wedding party table, but Jessica did not look happy the entire night. She just wasn’t her bubbly self. She was very subdued and she and Tony barely interacted the entire night, except for some dancing at the end.”

It was clear on Friday when Jessica and Tony met for lunch that they were just playing nice for the sake of the cameras. Look how happy Tony was with Jess in the car:

I wondered if Jessica could put aside her current troubles and focus (for once) on her sister? I soon found out the answer: of course not. It’s Jessica first. Take her speech to her sister where she toasted Pete and Ashlee by saying they have “inspired” her to “love again.”

Amazing. Her sister gets married and she manages to bring it right back to her. At the end of her speech Jessica apologized “for not writing anything more formal.”

Yeah… why actually be prepared for your sister’s wedding? Just get up and blabber something about yourself. Way to go, Jess.

As with his older daughter’s wedding, Joe Simpson did the marrying of the two. Apparently all the Simpson’s were very choked up and emotional. Joe even joked that the Simpson clan is a hard one to marry into it.

That’s the understatement of the year.

Yahoo also says “The reception did experience some drama. At one point later in the night, Ashlee lost one of her diamond earrings. “Pete got on the mic and told everyone to look for the earrings,” the guest says. “He said they cost more than the entire wedding!” Within a few minutes, a guest found the missing baubles.”

The wedding was decorated in a “Alice in Wonderland theme” with a cake that had a “top hat, tea pot, stop watch and a pot of flowers on top” according to People.

Guests included Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Scrubs cutie Donald Faison and his girlfriend CaCee Cobb, and Pete Wentz’s English bulldog, Hemingway, who also served as the ringbearer.

Apparently Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo will place nice, if for nothing else than the sake of sister Ashlee’s wedding today. This means either the two are in the middle of a fight but not yet done, or that they’re just coming together so Jess doesn’t have t be alone on the day of her sister’s wedding.

My guess? They’re just trying to work out their differences.

One source says Jessica and Tony “met for a casual Japanese lunch at Katsuya in L.A. on Friday, arriving separately and greeting with a kiss.”

Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall to hear that conversation? I can imagine it:

JESSICA: How can you leave me alone for my sister’s wedding?

TONY: You’re putting too much pressure on me. All this marriage and babies talk is too much.

JESSICA: But you’re my love! My life!

TONY: Sure, but I’m not proposing to you. You have to stop calling yourself “Mrs. Romo.”

JESSICA: (Pauses…) Can I still call myself a football wife?

TONY: No.

JESSICA: (Pouting)…. You better come with me to that wedding or I will stalk you like nobody’s business.

TONY: Fine! But wear a slutty outfit or I’m outa there.

With Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz supposedly getting married today, speculation on wedding costs has begun. The Daily News Gossip page is saying the wedding is being “covered” in exchange for “exclusive coverage of this Saturday’s hush-hush nuptials.”

If this is so, it’s pretty tacky. I know we all want the behind the scenes details, but if Papa Joe couldn’t open his wallet for his youngest daughter (like he did for his oldest) that’s pretty bad. Still, Ashlee and Pete are probably okay with it. What do they care? They’re in love and if Papa Joe wants to be a cheapskate, whatever.

The source also says invites were sent electronically via Evite, and included sketchy information on the details, although it was clear that “cell phones and cameras are strictly forbidden.” Folks were just told to grab a hotel in LA and a car would come to pick them up.

They also said Jessica had a dinner for the couple at her place last night. Wonder if Tony was there?

You heard it here first! According to one source, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will be married one week from today “at a private home in Los Angeles.”

I’d heard another rumor that they’d be married very soon, but part of me thinks Ashlee would like to settle in to this “engagement” thing a while longer.
