The CW elaborates on Ashlee Simpson’s dismissal…or do they?

I had to add the “or do they?” part because this so-called explanation isn’t very explanatory at all!

According to TheCelebrityCafe.com, in wake of Jessica Simpson’s Twitter comments regarding her sister’s “having been let go” from Melrose Place, The CW “declined to retort but simply said that Simpson-Wentz storyline was finished and her last appearance will air in January.”
Not so much an explanation as a reiteration of previously released information. Previously released LAME information, but still previously released. I wonder if we’re ever going to get the real scoop!
